Before you begin

For the first run, use macOS or Linux and a non-sensitive repository. Host sessions use the permissions of your OS user.

Open one real session, leave the keyboard, then resume that exact session from your phone.

Install the host

Install the CLI beside your existing tools. Your code and agent credentials stay on this machine.

The installer asks before updating zsh, bash or fish, then can start setup without reloading your shell.

Accept the setup prompt, review host access and choose Denshin Relay. If you skipped it, run the fallback command below.

Relay needs no Tailscale, port forwarding, account or pasted token.

Scan and continue

Use your phone camera. The QR opens the complete Denshin Web client, pairs this browser and takes you straight to your sessions.

No mobile app is required. The code is single-use and the enrolled device stays revocable.

The native app is an upgrade, not a prerequisite.

Start on the Web. The current iPhone pilot build, Denshin 0.1.3 (13), is approved and available through the public TestFlight link. The Android APK remains 0.1.1, so keep its qualification separate.

Prove the job, not the setup.

Once paired, test one real session. Notice where the product helps and where it makes you hesitate.

  1. Open a shellRun a harmless command and confirm the output is the same machine.
  2. Open your agentUse raw terminal or the structured view when the installed adapter supports it.
  3. Walk awayLeave the computer and resume the same session through the connection method agreed for this pilot.
  4. Return naturallyOver the next ten days, reopen Denshin only when a real job gives you a reason.

If something fails, stop and keep the evidence.

Do not reinstall first. Keep the error visible and note the exact step, platform, app build and connection method.
